Logan Regional Hospital

The Logan Regional Hospital Expansion consisted of a 104,000 square foot Women’s Center Addition. The new woman’s center contained 80 labor and delivery rooms, two C-section operating rooms, twelve NICU beds and state of the art Nurse Call, CCTV, Access Control, Voice/Data, Paging and Fire Alarm systems.

The project also consisted of a new central plant and emergency distribution system to replace the existing ones. Several of the existing automatic transfer switches were replaced with new ones as well as the existing emergency distribution switch gear. Four parallel runs of 750 MCM aluminum was ran 700 feet from the new central plant to the new women’s center to give it emergency backup.
