IKEA Draper

This is the first IKEA store in the state of Utah. It is 310,000 square feet and utilizes concrete tilt up construction. This store has a large 250 seat restaurant on the second floor. This facility utilizes two 2500 amp distribution boards. Further, the panel boards, transformers, lighting controls and building management system were all integrated into prewired sections.

There are over 4,200 luminaries to light this facility and they range from 16’ industrial strips to 2’ X 4’ grid fixtures as well as recessed down lights and track lighting. All of which is controlled by the integrated building management system. Metal clad cable was utilized on the branch circuiting throughout the facility and totaled a staggering 30 miles in total length through cable tray and racking systems.
