Corner Canyon High School

Corner Canyon High School is a new 328,000 square foot facility located on a 50 acre site in the center of Draper Utah. This Project broke ground in May of 2011 and is scheduled to open for the 2013-2014 school year. Due to the massive footprint, the building has two electrical utility feeds. The complexity of the architectural block work, and overall complexity of the architecture in this building, coordination utilizing BIM/Revit, and the total station, has been a major contributing factor in the overall success of this project. The School is equipped with state of the art LED lighting and a sophisticated lighting control system that adjusts to the natural light level in the building. The system can also be adjusted to the specific level required for the task being performed in any given classroom. The audiovisual systems are second to none and allow for the teachers to have full automation from multiple locations in the classroom. These components working together provide the most sophisticated learning experience that can be found in the classroom today.
