City Creek: Block 75

City Creek Center includes Plaza, Retail, Parking and office mixed use facilities and all the supporting systems to support this complex project. The City Creek project is one of the largest mixed-use developments in the United States. City Creek is a sustainably designed, walkable, urban community of residences, offices, and retail stores on 23 acres of land spread across three blocks in downtown Salt Lake City. City Creek Center has been Silver LEED Certified.

Eighty stores and restaurants line the pedestrian walkways and link two anchor stores, Nordstrom and Macy’s. Retail areas are either open-air or covered by a retractable roof. A full-service Harmon’s Grocery Store, including a deli, pharmacy, and bakery, is on the south side of Social Hall Avenue, east of State Street. City Creek’s food court is located on 28 S. State Street between the KeyBank and Eagle Gate Towers.

Taylor Electric provided the back of house infrastructure for the support of each tenant space. This included 11 strategically placed electrical rooms with various sizes of individually metered services. We also played a part in the feel of the complex through installation of the lighting and sound. We provided power and control to the operable walls and roof.
